News came yesterday that our 1,000th U.S. soldier, Jacob Leicht, of College Station, Texas, was killed in Afghanistan. More and more everyday Americans, as well as our political leaders, are beginning to finally question our mission in that country and why we're still there. Michael Steele, the chairman of the Republican National Committee got into very hot water with his party this week when he made an off-the-cuff remark that the war in Afghanistan was unwinnable, but even some Republicans are starting the realize the futility of the situation there. But what will it take to end that "war"?
