Happy 49th Birthday to one of the sexiest actors in Hollywood, Chris Meloni. Chris shot to fame on HBO's prison drama, "Oz", and his sexy appeal made dropping the soap in a prison shower look like a good thing. His character maintained a long-term relationship with another prisoner, but Chris's character could never say "I love you" or admit his true feelings. Why, oh why, are prison convicts the toughest nuts to crack when it comes to relationships? Not that we would know.

Chris has worked regularly since 1989, but it was 1998 debut on "Oz" that made him famous, in part, no doubt, to his willingness to drop his pants for the camera, and for which we are eternally grateful. Since 1999, Meloni has starred as Detective Elliot Stabler on "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit", starring in a record 243 episodes. But it was his 38 episodes of "Oz" which gave him his fame and the reruns of which can still cause loins to tingle.
