"blue-eyed soul" voices in all of popular music. Michael Cunningham, who wrote the novel, "The Hours", which was turned into the film for which Kidman won her Oscar, is writing the script. Legions of Dusty fans are crying "foul", (or throwing up Yellow Cards if they're sitting at a World Cup match), complaining that Kidman is not a singer. Well, let's face it, no one can sing like Dusty Springfield, so if Springfield's fans are waiting for an actress who can most closely mimic the iconic singer's voice, they're going to be waiting for awhile. From all accounts, the biopic will focus more on the pop star's life, and for that, the film needs an actress. We're excited to see what Kidman and Cunningham will come up with. Let's just pray it's not another "Bewitched", okay, Nicole?
