Now It's Personal

The fabled MGM movie studio has been in serious financial trouble for a few years now, and rumors have swirled for some time mentioning words like "bankruptcy" and "sell-off", but at this point, no one knows for sure what will happen to the legendary film and media company. And how does this affect us, you might be asking yourself, well, we'll tell you. A report came yesterday that the third Daniel Craig "James Bond" film has been shelved indefinitely because MGM doesn't have the money to produce it. And when someone keeps Daniel Craig from our movie screens, well, now they've made it personal. Industry insiders are showing no fear, saying that the James Bond franchise is so popular and profitable that if MGM falters, someone else will simply pick the shattered pieces and continue the Bond legacy. That's good to hear, because if we have to scrape up the money ourselves to keep Daniel Craig in his tux and small swimsuits, we'll do it.
