.Just yesterday we mentioned how the werewolf studs, Alcide and Cooter, are keeping us glued to one of our favorite shows, HBO's "True Blood", and then today we came across these stills from another show which is evidently also reeking in testoterone, The Starz Network's "Spartucus: Blood and Sand".

We don't have the Starz Network, so we haven't seen the show, but we had previously seen several photos of the show's star, Andy Whitfield. Just seeing Whitfield, alone, made us want to tune in, but then we saw these photos of naked gladiators from the show, and now we're trying to figure out a way to splice into our neighbor's t.v. satellite system. The show is a new take on the old "blood and sand" gladiator epics which were so popular in the 1950's, but the old movies never had this. History tells us the the Greeks and Romans fought and played in the nude, but our tightly-bunned high school history teacher, Miss Krusty, never told us they looked so good doing it. Oh my.
