We wondered why one of our previous posts on Charlize Theron had suddenly shot to the top of the most-read posts on our site, and then we read the news that Miss Theron is set to play Princess Diana in an upcoming bio-pic. But hold on, a rival movie about "The People's Princess" is also in the works and is set to star Keira Knightley. So get ready, the press will make a lot of noise about the two movies and which actress does better justice to the portrayal of one of the world's most famous and beloved women.
.
A few years back, there was a similar situation in which two movies came out at almost the same time which were about the same topic, "Capote" with Phillip Seymour Hoffman in 2005, and "Infamous" in 2006 with Toby Jones. Both films dealt with writer Truman Capote's relationship with the murderers who were the subject of his groundbreaking book, "In Cold Blood". "Capote" came out first and won Hoffman an Oscar for Best Actor. Case closed on which movie was better, right? But then came "Infamous" in which Toby Jones was an even more impressive Capote, mostly because he almost an exact physical twin of the famous writer, and suddenly we had to admit that both movies were equally good and both very well done.
