Happy 38th Birthday today to one of our favorite actors, Adrien Brody. Brody won a Best Actor Oscar in 2003 for "The Pianist", Roman Polanski's harrowing tale of one man's survival of the holocaust.
Brody proves that you don't have to be traditionally good-looking to be sexy; Brody does it all with attitude, smarts and self-confidence.
Brody has five different movies completed or in production, the most interesting one is entitled, "Blondie: The Florence Ballard Story". Flo was one of the original Supremes, who was later kicked out of the group and ended up dying in 1976 of cardiac arrest after a well-publicized stint on welfare. Jennifer Hudson's character in "Dreamgirls", 'Effie White', was based on Florence Ballard. Brody will play Peter Benjaminson, who wrote the book, "The Lost Supreme", the story of Flo's life which she related to Benjaminson in a series of taped interviews before her death. Umm, we can't wait.
