Pres. Obama took the oath of office yesterday, and one thing became abundantly clear, that not only is Pres. Obama a thoughtful, measured leader for whom we have high hopes, but paired with First Lady Michelle Obama, they make for one dazzling couple. They're bringing real glamour back to the White House, the kind we haven't seen since the days of the Kennedy's. Fashion is back, bitches, and we're not talking about that scary old lady, saggy arm look of Nancy Reagan in her one-armed Galanos gown or Barbara Bush's Scaasi dress which had to be cut the size of a circus tent and which made one think a small battleship was entering the room. No, the Obama's are bringing real style to the party. Even the J. Crew outfits of the first daughters, Sasha and Malia, were so popular that the J. Crew website crashed yesterday when thousands scambled to find the clothes for themselves. We have real problems in this country, and we'll be watching Pres. Obama's every move very carefully, but we can guarantee you, that every single time Michelle makes a public appearance, the entire world will be watching breathlessly to see what she's wearing. Trust us, Fashion Avenue in New York City is having one long, sustained and very enjoyable orgasm right now.
