Elton and Sarah Jessica: The Gayest Couple on Earth

.

Two gay icons share a birthday today, Sir Elton John celebrates his 63rd, and Sarah Jessica Parker is 45.
.
.
Elton John is known by younger fans as the guy who writes Disney songs and is one of the world's preeminent gay activists, whose parties and benefit events have raised hundreds of millions of dollars for his AIDS foundation.

But to more of us, Elton took us down the Yellow Brick Road as the greatest rock star of the 1970's. The 50's had Elvis, the 60's had the Beatles, and the 70's had Elton. It all started for Elton in the U.S. in 1970 when he scored a #8 hit on the U.S. charts with "Your Song", followed by hits
"Friends", "Levon", "Tiny Dancer", "Rocket Man", "Honky Cat", and finally in 1972, his first #1 U.S. hit, "Crocodile Rock". In 1973 John released his classic album, "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road", and his status as a rock star was cemented by both critics and the American public. And that was all before iconic hits "Don't Go Breaking My Heart", "The Bitch is Back" and an endless list of other hit songs for the next three decades.

It's hard to believe that Sarah Jessica Parker, who started out on Broadway as "Annie", and on t.v. as the nerd on "Square Pegs" is 45. Sarah has morphed into anything but a nerd, currently reigning as a successful film producer, actor and style trendsetter.

We love Sarah Jessica so much, we'll even forgive her for making dreck like her recent movie with Hugh Grant, "Did You Hear About the Morgans?". Ick. But Sarah Jessica always redeems herself, and next up is "Sex and the City 2".
