Beware the Ides of March! And Liz Cheney!

Today is March 15, The Ides of March, the day which we always expect something bad to happen. And it did. Today, the news came that a "bipartisan group of foreign policy experts" sent a letter to Pres. Obama urging him to initiate a "no-fly zone" over Libya. The letter was signed by, among others, neo-cons Bill Kristol and Liz Cheney.
.
Oh, Jesus. Where do we start? First, on what planet are Kristol and Liz Cheney considered "foreign policy experts"? Kristol was one of the main people who pushed for the Iraq War, and how'd that work out for us? And Liz, Liz, Liz, your daddy lied to get us into Iraq, and outted a CIA agent when her husband exposed that lie, and since you've never, to date, ever disagreed with your looney, misguided father, you have absolutely no credibility in foreign policy. Only by God's graces is your daddy not in prison, so if we were you, we'd just sit there and keep our mouth shut, especially in the area of foreign policy. Actually, forget foreign policy, just keep your mouth shut.
.
And second, considering that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are going so well, who in their right mind would want us to become involved in another war? Jesus H. Christ! What is wrong with you people?
.
And third, all we've heard from the Republicans for the past year is that "America is broke"! That's why we can't afford social security, NPR or worker's benefits any longer, right? But we can manage to find a few billion dollars to start another war? Really? So which is it, Republicans, when you say we're "broke", are you outright lying, or are you just saying that we're broke in order to pursue your own secret political agenda? Kidding. We actually know the answer to that question.
.
For America to initiate a no-fly zone in Libya is insanity. And luckily, Pres. Obama and Defense Secretery Gates know it is, so don't look for it to happen anytime soon. But meanwhile, someone at Fox News should give Kristol and Cheney a call and tell them that maybe they'd be better off if they just ignored all those voices in their heads.
