Peter Billingsley, who famously played Ralphie in the movie, "A Christmas Story", (1983), is 40 years old today. Billingsley was one of Hollywood's most successful child actors for a number of years, and later went into producing, earning two Emmy nominations, one for acting and one as a producer. Billingsley, who is best friends with actor Vince Vaughn, also works occasionally as a director, most recently directing Vaughn's comedy, 2009's "Couples Retreat".
So Ralphie is middle-aged. Wow. Do you feel old now?
